7 April: The Prince of Wales today visited Devon and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant (Lieutenant-Colonel the Earl of Morley).

His Royal Highness this morning took the Salute at the Lord High Admiral's Divisions, Britannia Royal Naval College, Dartmouth.

The Prince of Wales this afternoon visited the new Teenage Unit, Derriford General Hospital, Derriford, Plymouth.

Major Patrick Tabor was in

attendance.

7 April: The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, Friends of Gibraltar Heritage Society, this morning received Admiral Sir Derek Reffell on assuming the appointment of Chairman of the Society.

7 April: The Duke of Kent, Chairman of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh's Commonwealth Study Conference (United Kingdom Fund), this morning attended the Annual Trustees Meeting, the Industrial Society, Carlton House Terrace, London SW1.

The Duke of Kent, Colonel, Scots Guards, this afternoon visited Regimental Headquarters and F Company, Scots Guards, Wellington Barracks, London SW1.

The Duchess of Kent, Patron, the Spastics Society, today received Mr Anthony Hewson, Chairman and Miss Ann Robinson, Chief Executive.

The Duke of Kent, Grand Master, the United Grand Lodge of England, was represented by the Reverend Prebendary Leighton Thomson at the Funeral of the Reverend Francis Heydon which was held at St Andrew's Church, Nuthurst, Sussex this afternoon.

7 April: Princess Alexandra this evening attended a Concert given by the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra at the Barbican Centre, London EC2.

ROYAL ENGAGEMENTS

The Princess Royal, Honorary President, Scottish Motor Neurone Disease Association, attends a Family Reel Party at the Argyllshire Gathering Hall, Oban, Scotland. The Duke of Gloucester, accompanied by The Duchess of Gloucester, takes the salute at the Sovereign's Parade at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, Berkshire; and as Deputy Colonel-in- Chief, Royal Logistics Corps, attends a Corps Officers' Dinner to mark the formation of the Royal Logistics Corps at the Princess Royal Barracks, Blackdown, Surrey. The Duke of Kent attends the Annual General Meeting of the Henley Society, Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire.

The Queen's Gallery opens between 10am and 5pm, and last admission is at 4.30pm.

Changing of the Guard

The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am; 1st Battalion Irish Guards mounts the Queen's Guard, at Buckingham Palace, 11.30am, band provided by the Scots Guards.
