13 February: The Prince of Wales today attended the Tercentenary celebrations of the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, United States of America.

His Royal Highness this evening attended a private dinner at the home of the Vice-President of the United States of America and Mrs Gore, Washington DC, United States of America.

14 February: The Prince of Wales, President, The Prince's Trust, today attended a luncheon given on behalf of the trust by Mr and Mrs Kenneth Lay of Enron Inc, in Houston, Texas, United States of America.

Mr Peter Westmacott and Surgeon Commander Robin Clark RN were in attendance.

His Royal Highness this afternoon left the United States of America for an official visit to Mexico.

The Princess Royal opens the Association for Prevention of Addiction's new Community Drug Team project, London E1; as President, Save the Children Fund, holds an Industry and Commerce Meeting at Buckingham Palace and later holds a reception and dinner at Buckingham Palace for Save the Children Fund Industry and Commerce Group Members.

Changing of the Guard

The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am; 1st Battalion Grenadier Guards mounts the Queen's Guard, at Buckingham Palace, 11.30am, band provided by the Scots Guards.
