YORK HOUSE

15 January: The Duchess of Kent, Patron, Cancer Relief Macmillan Fund, this morning visited the Highland Hospice, Bishop's Road, Inverness, and was met on arrival by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant for Inverness (Lieutenant-Commander Lachlan Mackintosh of Mackintosh RN).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, the Samaritans, this afternoon visited the Inverness Branch, 66 Tomnahurich Street, Inverness, where she was presented with a donation for Inverness Technical College.

The Duchess of Kent, Patron, Cancer Relief Macmillan Fund, later visited Roxburghe House, Milltimber, Aberdeen, and was met on arrival by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant for the City of Aberdeen (Mr James Wyness, the Lord Provost).

Mrs Julian Tomkins was in attendance.

Changing of the Guard

TODAY: The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am; 1st Battalion the Kings Regiment mounts the Queen's Guard, at Buckingham Palace, 11.30am, band provided by the Kings Regiment. TOMORROW: The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 10am.
