SANDRINGHAM

17 January: Divine Service was held in Sandringham Parish Church this morning.

The Bishop of Bath and Wells preached the Sermon.

Mr SM Pocklington (Headteacher of Sandringham and West Newton VA Primary School, King's Lynn) had the honour of being received by The Queen when Her Majesty presented a Bible to Jeremy Taylor for proficiency in Religious Instruction.

BUCKINGHAM PALACE

16 January: The Prince Edward this afternoon attended the England versus France International Rugby Football Union match at Twickenham, Middlesex.

Lieutenant-Colonel Sean O'Dwyer was in attendance.

16 January: The Princess Royal, Patron, Scottish Rugby Union, accompanied by Commander Timothy Laurence RN, today attended the Scotland versus Ireland International Rugby Match, Murrayfield, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant for the City of Edinburgh (Mr Norman Irons, the Right Hon, the Lord Provost).

ROYAL ENGAGEMENTS

The Princess Royal, Patron, SENSE, the National Deaf-Blind and Rubella Association, visits Manor House Crafts, Peterborough; and, as Patron, Dunn Nutrition Centre, visits the Centre, Cambridge.

Changing of the Guard

The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am; 2nd Battalion Coldstream Guards mounts the Queen's Guard, at Buckingham Palace, 11.30am, band provided by the Grenadier Guards.
