29 March: The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh gave a Reception this evening at Buckingham Palace for the winners of The Queen's Award for Export and Technology in 1992.

29 March: The Duchess of Kent this morning visited the American Museum in Britain, Claverton Manor, Bath and was met on arrival by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant for Avon (Sir John Wills Bt).
Her Royal Highness this afternoon opened the Cardiac Centre at the Royal United Hospital, Combe Park, Bath and later visited the Bridge Care Project, Bridgemead Residential and Nursing Home, St John's Road, Bathwick, Avon.
Mrs Julian Tomkins was in attendance.

The Princess Royal, President, The Rural Housing Trust, attends the Annual Conference of the South Eastern Branch of the Institute of Housing, Guildhall, Winchester, Hampshire. The Duchess of Kent attends lunch with the City of London Sheriff's Society at Saddlers' Hall, London EC2.
