The Princess Royal, President, British Olympic Association, hosts a reception at Buckingham Palace. Princess Alexandra attends a concert, in aid of Red Cross assistance in former Yugoslavia, at the Royal Festival Hall, London SE1.
Changing of the Guard
The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am; 1st Battalion Grenadier The Kings Regiment mounts the Queen's Guard, at Buckingham Palace, 11.30am, band provided by the Welsh Guards.
