22 May: By command of the Queen, the Viscount Astor (Lord-in-Waiting) will be present at Gatwick Airport, London, this morning upon the Departure of the Governor-General of Grenada and Lady Palmer and will bid farewell to Their Excellencies on behalf of Her Majesty.

By command of the Queen, the Viscount Astor (Lord-in-Waiting) was present at Heathrow Airport, London, this afternoon upon the Arrival of The President of the Republic of Uganda and Mrs Museveni and welcomed His Excellency and Mrs Museveni on behalf of Her Majesty.

22 May: The Duke of York today visited Aberlour House, Aberlour, Banffshire, and was received by Mrs Oliver Russell (Deputy Lieutenant of Banffshire).

Captain Rupert Maitland-Titterton was in attendance.

23 May: The Prince Edward this evening attended a 'Tribute to Joe Loss' Concert in support of Outreach, the Free Trade Hall, Manchester, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant for Greater Manchester (Colonel John Timmins).

Lieutenant-Colonel Sean O'Dwyer was in attendance.

KENSINGTON PALACE

23 May: The Princess of Wales, Patron, British Red Cross Youth, this afternoon visited the refugee centre, Fawsley House, Hillmorton Road, Rugby, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord- Lieutenant for Warwickshire (Captain the Viscount Daventry).

22 May: Princess Alexandra, Patron, and the Hon Sir Angus Ogilvy this evening attended the Kew Guild Centenary Reception and Dinner at the National History Museuum, London SW7.

23 May: Princess Alexandra, Patron of the National Kidney Research Fund, this morning started the annual 'Walk Across London's Bridges', in aid of the Fund and the Kidney Foundation, in Battersea Park, London SW11.

Changing of the Guard

The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am; 2nd Battalion Coldstream Guards mounts the Queen's Guard, at Buckingham Palace, 11.30am, band provided by the Scots Guards.
