Malaysia Airlines flight MH370: Courtney Love's 'theory' sparks slew of new findings. Including Where's Wally, Tupac and Big Foot

The Hole frontwoman is on fire, if these hilarious internet memes are anything to go by

It’s rare that Courtney Love ‘breaks the news’. Or that anyone actually pays any attention to it.

But yesterday, the world sat up and took note (and then fell about laughing) as she delivered the findings of her carefully investigated piece of guess-work into the whereabouts of the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370.

The former Hole frontwoman used satellite site Tomnod to pinpoint a nondescript patch of ocean near the island of Pulau Perak.

She helpfully pointed out where she thought the location of the plane was to her followers on Twitter and Facebook using the most high tech of equipment available: Microsoft Paint.

Presumably using the 'thick brush tool', she drew two thick arrows, labelling them ‘oil’ and ‘plane’ and signing off with a ‘CL’ daubing in the corner, lest we forget who was responsible for the ludicrous doodle.

“I'm no expert but up close this does look like a plane and an oil slick,” she wrote alongside it. “Prayers go out to the families #MH370 and it’s like a mile away Pulau Perak, where they 'last' tracked it 5°39'08.5“N 98°50'38.0”E but what do I know?”

Great piece of Paint-work from Miss Love. Actual plane finding... Not so much.

Naturally, her bizarre conspiracy theory received a bit of a hammering online. But not before her stunt managed to spark a whole slew of hilarious internet memes. Courtney Love, it seems, has been busy locating many of planet earth’s lost treasures. Including…

Where's Wally! He's been lost among the cartoon population for so long. But Courtney's found him...

That whole Tupac isn't really dead, he's on an island with Biggie and Elvis? Solved. By Courtney...

Ah, the Abominable Snowman, otherwise known as Big Foot. Found. Again, by Courtney...
