David Cameron disappoints Rolls-Royce workers because he's not David Coulthard
Gutting news that the PM wasn't the Formula 1 driver
David Cameron was put in his place yesterday when visiting the Rolls-Royce factory.
The factory, near Chichister, had prepared staff for the Prime Minister's visit by letting them know that the VIP guest would have the initials "DC".
However, that left one worker put out, as he was looking forward to meeting racing driver David Coulthard.
The racing enthusiast admitted that he was "a little bit disappointed" when Cameron showed up to the factory.
Cameron said: "Sorry it’s not David Coulthard – but it’s a good way to celebrate not just what you do here but the whole of the motor industry and motorsport industry of Britain."
