Donald Trump may have just shed his nonchalant attitude by losing his cool after branding a sound technician a “son of a b***h” and a “b*****d” at a rally in Florida.

The Republican candidate who infamously uttered the words “I. Don’t. Care” when he was widely criticised by international heads of government, UN officials and even his own party after calling for a “complete shutdown” of Muslims entering the US, appears to have now found something he actually cares about - his microphone.

Trump was in Pensacola, Florida where 10,000 people reportedly showed up to support the GOP frontrunner.

In between discussing the Iran nuclear deal and reportedly hinting that rival candidate Ted Cruz may not meet the constitutional requirements to become president because he was born in Canada to American parents, Trump took became infuriated with the “mic system”.

ABC News journalist John Santucci posted Trump’s comments on Twitter, explaining that despite the laugh the outburst garnered from the audience, Trump was actually “really annoyed”.

Veering off topic, Trump reportedly said: “And by the way I don’t like this mic, whoever the hell brought this mic system don’t pay the son of a b***h who brought it in… no this mic is terrible, stupid mic keeps popping.”

Sticking to his point not to pay the sound technician, the businessman whose net worth is believed to be around $4.5 billion, urged his team: “Don’t pay him! Don’t pay him. You know I believe in paying but when somebody does a bad job like this stupid mic you shouldn’t pay the b*****d.”

Hammering the message home, he continued: “Terrible. Terrible. It’s true. And you gotta be tough with your people because they’ll pay, they don’t care So we’re not going to pay. I guarantee I’m not going to pay for this mic. Every two minutes I hear like ‘Boom Boom’.”

Trump is currently leading the GOP candidacy race by 36 per cent, according to the latest YouGov poll.

Recent comments from the 69-year-old include the praising of North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un for how he “wipes out” political opponents.
