Toronto Police have confirmed two people are dead and three in hospital following a shooting at an OVO Fest after-party hosted by Drake.

The shootings are believed to have taken place at Muzik nightclub in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Police said they responded to a call about shots being fired at the Muzik nightclub on the grounds of the Canada National Exhibition.

The club was hosting the official after-party for the annual music festival, which is hosted by Drake.

It was not immediately clear if he was present during the shooting.

Toronto Police Superintendent Frank Bergen told The Associated Press that the victims were a man and a woman in their 20s and 30s. Their names have not yet been released.

Police believe there could be more victims at other locations and urged citizens to contact authorities.
