Jeremy Clarkson has a message for anyone feeling worried about their A-level results today.

The controversial former Top Gear host revealed he walked away with a C and two Us from his time at college - and was keen to stress that it failed to impact his life. Clarkson, who is worth an estimated £30 million, has enjoyed a successful career as a journalist and broadcaster. Even his Top Gear sacking failed to derail him, and he recently confirmed he would be fronting a new motoring show with Amazon Prime (and a reported £160 million budget).

As students across the country celebrated or commiserated, Clarkson provided those who performed less well with his own experience of flunking out of college.
