Kendall Jenner has said that she hopes “good” will come from her father Caitlyn’s transition.

The 19-year-old model and television personality, who first came to attention on her family’s reality television show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, has been busy working on her modelling career.

Walking the red carpet last night at the 2015 Fragrance Foundation Awards in New York City, Jenner expressed her excitement for upcoming documentary I am Cait.

"I think that he can honestly do so much good with everything and I'm excited for it. If he's excited, I'm excited for him," [sic] she told E! News.

Caitlyn Jenner, 65, formerly known as Bruce, is currently transitioning into a woman.

She recently landed the cover of Vanity Fair, unveiling both her chosen name and new appearance. Widely lauded for her bravery in handling the situation, Caitlyn Jenner is currently filming a documentary detailing her decision to transition.

Formerly married to Kris Kardashian, she has two children, Kendall and Kylie, 17.

Jenner has defended her father before. In an emotional clip from their reality show she described her as “the most amazing person that I know. I couldn’t ask for a better dad.”
