The Kardashian family have announced they have suspended all activity on their personal, paid-for apps while they support Lamar Odom, who is fighting for his life after being found unconscious in a Las Vegas brothel.

Earlier this year the extended Kardashian-Jenner family - Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Kendall and Kylie - launched their own apps giving an exclusive look into their lives, focusing on music, style, beauty and fitness.

“As a family, we’ve decided to hold off on publishing content across our apps while we continue to support and pray for Lamar,” the family said in a statement.

“Thank you for your kindness and understanding during this difficult time.”

Each sister’s app has a seven day free trial, which then costs $2.99 (£1.95) a month. Each member of the reality TV family posts pictures, blogs, and live-streams focusing on what they get up to when the cameras aren’t rolling on Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

Odom married Khloe Kardashian in 2009 after a brief courtship, marrying her in a ceremony that was televised on the E! cable network. They divorced four years later, but due to a backlog in Los Angeles courts, the divorce has not been finalised.

As a result, she is in charge of making medical decisions while Odom is on life support.

“I will never, ever not love Lamar. I was so obsessed with him in a healthy way. He was my husband, and I still wish he was, and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that.“
