Stuart Lynn Dunn, who was sentenced for stalking Mila Kunis, has reportedly escaped from a secure mental health facility in Californian.

Dunn was ordered to stay away from the actress for 10 years in January 2013 after he was repeatedly arrested for pursuing her.

Staff at the psychiatric centre in Pomona said that he made an “unauthorised departure” at 8pm on Saturday night.

The Los Angeles Sheriff's Department are assisting the search for Dunn. Lieutenant Martin Rodriguez told the Daily News that the hunt to find him is “in progress and ongoing”.

Kunis has apparently been notified of his escape, but is yet to comment on the reports.

Dunn was first arrested in February 2012 for breaking into the Black Swan actress’s home when she was away.

He was again arrested in May that year when he lay in wait outside her gym for her for three days.

When he appeared in court in January 2013 he pleaded no contest to stalking and was sentenced to completing five years probation at the mental health facility.
