Miley Cyrus could remain in hospital for up to 27 days, the singer confirmed in an official statement tweeted from her sick bed last night (scroll down to see it below).
Which is really awful for Miley Cyrus, who is feeling rather under the weather after suffering from a severe allergic reaction to an antibiotic she was taking for a sinus infection.
It’s also terrible news for her fans, who may well have paid over the odds for a coveted ticket to see the singer perform on the US leg of her Bangerz Tour.
For chronic sufferers of Miley fame fatigue, however, it’s an opportunity to bring their condition under control with some much-needed recovery time.
Symptoms of chronic Miley fame fatigue include the inability to look at a computer screen without seeing repeat images of her face, the loss of the use of normal language in favour of emoticons and long and sustained subjection to headlines featuring the word “twerk”.

As of yet, no cure has been found, but practitioners do advise sufferers to move to a corner of the earth as far away from western civilisation as possible in order to escape exposure.
So this limited time frame could provide the general public with a period of relative Miley quiet after a turbulent tabloid year of crotch-thrusting publicity stunts and in-your-face sartorial statements.
But only if media speculation over the state of her health draws to a close. So, you know. Sorry about this. And consider it now closed.
