Selay Ghaffar, Executive Director of HAWCA says that in her and other activists' opinion, women's rights are non-negotiable. But if there has to be negotiation with the Taliban, then women must be involved. 'Otherwise I can 100 per cent guarantee that my rights will not be secure...as a woman who has experienced the Taliban regime, I cannot trust and I cannot believe that they have really changed because this would be a change of mentality.'
