Amy Winehouse's mother voiced her concern today that her daughter might reunite with ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil.

The Back To Black singer was divorced last month on the grounds of her adultery, but Fielder-Civil recently said they had been in contact and he wanted them to get back together.

Janis Winehouse told Closer magazine her daughter was still in love with the music video producer, who was given a 27-month jail sentence last year for attacking a publican and trying to cover it up.

Mrs Winehouse said: "Amy's done so well getting healthy again. We all hope it's not true they're back in touch, but Amy is like a child. She says, 'I love Blake, I love him', and it's hard to talk her out of it.

"She knows he's bad for her. Who knows what will happen?"

Mrs Winehouse told the magazine that if the couple rekindled their relationship she and Mitch, Amy's father, would "step back" from her.

"I'm not sure how much more I could go through," she said. "Amy knows what we think of Blake so I suppose she's hiding it."

Winehouse, 25, made her return to live performing on Saturday after an eight-month stay in the Caribbean when she appeared on stage with ska band The Specials at the V Festival in Chelmsford.

Last month Mrs Winehouse said the spell in St Lucia had helped her daughter stay off drugs, but family and friends eager for her to return to clean-living might have been concerned to see her kissing the not-so-squeaky Pete Doherty on stage at the festival.

Mrs Winehouse dismissed the idea of her daughter getting pregnant.

She said: "Amy says she wants a baby but it's just talk. Amy doesn't have enough weight to get pregnant."
