Amy Winehouse's new man a 'normal bloke', says her father

Singer Amy Winehouse has started dating a film director, it was confirmed today.
The star has moved on from her ex Blake Fielder-Civil, whom she divorced last year, and has begun a relationship with Reg Traviss.
Her father Mitch has already called him a "normal bloke", which will come as some relief after her marriage to former heroin addict Fielder-Civil, who was jailed for assault last year.
Traviss finished his latest film Psychosis earlier this year, which features an appearance by former Darkness frontman Justin Hawkins. His previous film, the 2006 Joy Division set in Germany, won some acclaim.
The smartly-dressed director, with slicked-back hair, was spotted out with Winehouse earlier this week as they enjoyed a meal together.
A source close to Winehouse said today: "It's early days but they are enjoying each other's company."
Last night Mitch Winehouse, who is launching his own music career, gave the new man his seal of approval.
In an interview with STV's The Hour programme, he said: "I'm happy she's got a new boyfriend. I'm happy that she's moving on with her life."
He said Traviss was a "very nice, normal bloke".
Former cab driver Mr Winehouse releases his album of jazz and swing classics, Rush Of Love, next Monday.
