Carlos Tevez's pre-season turn as a golf caddie for Andres Romero at the Open Championship at the weekend might have seemed like an unusual move for the Manchester City striker, but his followers know only too well, that he is fond of trying his hand at different sports.
In 2009, Tevez made up for a delay by enjoying a rally with tennis player (and another fellow Argentine) Juan Martin del Potro at the ATP World Tour Finals at London's O2 Arena.
At other times, when he's supposed to be training with his teammates, he's been photographed on the other side of the world, swimming in the sea or running on the beach.
The Olympics should provide other opportunities for the Argentine dogsbody: ball boy at the beach volleyball, towel-carrier for the diving squad? Maybe the equestrian team will let him muck out their stables? Anything, it seems, to get out of playing football.Reuse content
