Does Beyonce’s ego know no bounds? Singer poses in the middle of Leonardo DaVinci's masterpiece 'The Last Supper'

Just when you thought the world was safe from another outlandish, Kanye-like statement of grandiose self-indulgence

Beyoncé goes and plonks herself in the middle of "The Last Supper".

The singer(‘s assistant) posted a series of pictures on her Instagram account last night, hinting to fans that they could be set for another guerrilla release, not unlike her surprise self-titled last album, in the near future.

But by far the most talked about image was the above photograph, which showed Beyoncé posing in the middle of Leonardo DaVinci’s masterpiece, right in front of Jesus.

The scantily clad star wore a bright green skirt and a light pink bustier as she languished on a countertop in front of the replica work.

She didn’t include any captions with the shots, so for now, their existence remains a mystery.

But the posts did come shortly after Beyoncé found herself in hot water with NASA.

As one so frequently does when making commercially viable pop music for the download generation, she decided to feature a sample taken from the NASA Challenger explosion, which claimed seven lives back in 1986.

Naturally, the inclusion in her single “XO” rattled a few cages, mainly those of people close to the situation, who lambasted her insensitivity.

However, Beyoncé told ABC News yesterday that the audio was used “in tribute to the unselfish work of the Challenger crew with hope that they will never be forgotten.”
