Cheryl Cole and Will.i.am injured in car crash
Thursday 30 August 2012
Pop stars Cheryl Cole and Will.i.am have been injured in a car crash.
The pair were left with whiplash after a minor accident in Los Angeles, which occurred early yesterday after they left a studio following a long recording session.
According to reports, Will.i.am was driving a Cadillac which hit a parked car while his best friend Cole was in the front passenger seat.
Reports say the airbag by the steering wheel inflated, hitting Will.i.am in the face and making his nose bleed.
But there was apparently no inflation of any airbag on the passenger side and Cole may have struck her head on the dashboard.
Will.i.am had a full check-up at nearby Cedars-Sinai hospital, while Cole was treated at the scene and did not go to hospital.
Both quickly assured fans they were fine.
Will.i.am tweeted: "Car accidents are not dope...I'm glad I'm o.k£wiplash."
He added: "We're fine. Cheryl Cole (and I) were coming back from the studio but she and I are fine ... just a little wiplash."
Cole added: "Don't worry me and iamwill are fine, promise x"
