Cheryl Cole speaks of 'romantic' Ashley

Cheryl Cole spoke about her husband's "romantic" side just days before Ashley Cole faced newspaper reports about sex texts sent from his mobile.

The singer, 26, said her marriage to the Chelsea and England footballer was "worth fighting for" and that the couple "love each other".

Cheryl, who performs at the Brits tomorrow night, told Hello! magazine she finds "little things really romantic and sweet".

She added: "Like when my husband says something lovely on the answering machine. Or when he runs a bath for me."

The X Factor judge said: "If it's worth fighting for then fight. And in the case of me and my husband, it's worth it.

"We love each other. Of course, sometimes when things aren't going very well, you've got to work on your relationship. Sometimes one of you makes a mistake, sometimes the other."

The Girls Aloud star had a huge hit with her first solo single Fight for This Love.
