Gordon Ramsay tells Norwegian broadcaster he would ‘drown him in a fjord' if he was responsible for the loss of his Michelin stars

Spare a thought for the person who is ever held responsible for a downgrading

Gordon Ramsay is known for his explosive temper.

The thought of even dropping a pan in his kitchen is enough to strike fear into the hearts of the steeliest chefs.

But spare a thought for the person who is ever held responsible for losing him a Michelin star.

Speaking on Norwegian television, the TV chef was asked by the host Skavlan what he would do to someone if he found out they were responsible for a downgrading.

“I would take you to the most amazing fjord in Norway and I would drown you,” he told the presenter, presumably jokingly.

“I started crying when I lost my stars,” Ramsay said of the personal upheaval caused by the downgrading of his restaurant The London last year.

“It's a very emotional thing for any chef. It's like losing a girlfriend. You want her back.”

Ramsay does, however, currently hold a total of 14 Michelin stars in his 12 restaurants worldwide.

And he still doesn’t like vegetarians, according to The Sun.

“I am allergic to [vegetarians]... I would pay my kids never to be vegetarian,” he said.
