One of the Hairy Biker TV chefs needed hospital treatment after he came off his motorbike today.
Simon King, 42, hurt a leg in the smash in Salter's Lane, Gosforth, Newcastle, while heading through rush-hour traffic to film a Christmas special.
His TV partner Dave Myers was following shortly behind and witnessed the aftermath of the crash, which left Mr King and his red Ducati machine in the road.
A spokeswoman for the Hairy Bikers show said: "He was taken to hospital and he had some X-rays done.
"He is fine, but a bit shocked, and will be resting at home with his family."
The self-taught chefs were heading for a location shoot for a festive series inspired by the Twelve Days of Christmas song.
A Northumbria Police spokesman said: "Police were called at 7.42am today to a report that a motorcyclist had come off his bike at Salter's Lane, Gosforth.
"The motorcyclist, a 42-year-old man, was riding a red Ducati motorcycle and was taken to Newcastle General Hospital with what have been described as minor leg injuries."
