Jordan to face trial on speeding charge

Former glamour model Katie Price is to stand trial next year for an alleged speeding offence, the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) said today.
The 30-year-old pin-up, best-known as Jordan, has been charged with breaking a 30mph speed limit in Brighton, East Sussex, on 5 March.
A CPS spokesman also said she was accused of failing to supply information about the identity of the driver some time after the alleged first offence on 9 April.
No plea has been entered to the charges and a trial date has been fixed to take place at Brighton Magistrates' Court on 7 January from 2pm.
