Playboy Playmate Cassandra Lynn Hensley has been found dead.

The 34-year-old glamour model was reportedly discovered at a friend’s home in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to TMZ that law enforcement officers are investigating her death as a possible overdose.

According to the site’s report, her friend called the paramedic after finding her floating in a bathtub. Attempts to revive her were made, but failed. No foul play is suspected.

Hensley was born in Salt Lake Valley, Utah. She appeared in Playboy for the first time as Miss February 2006.

According to her biography on the Playboy website, she began her modelling career when she was studying to become an aesthetician.

“I'm happy to be a Playmate,” she said, after scoring the role. “It's a dream come true."

However, in a recent interview with Metropolis Nights magazine, she began contemplating her future life after her run at Playboy had ended.

“I have been a part of many great experiences,” Hensley said. “Travel shows, magazine covers, and of course giving advice to young impressionable girls who they they need to act a certain way for a chance to be a model.”

Hugh Hefner and representatives of the Playboy mansion are yet to respond to the news.
