Rihanna to appear as 'special adviser' on 'The Voice'
The 27-year-old will appear in the ninth series of the reality TV show
Rihanna, the 27-year star who performed on The Voice, has now been added as a “key adviser” for the upcoming season of the reality TV show
Gwen Stefani is returning as a judge on the new ninth season, along with Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Pharrell Williams. Carson Daly will return to his position as host.
Rihanna will make her insights available to all of the contestants on the show, broadcast on NBC.
The series was created by John de Mol, who serves as executive producer along with Mark Burnett, Audrey Morrissey, Marc Jansen and Lee Metzger.
“The producers feel the best chance they have is with Rihanna and they would love that because they haven’t had a black female judge yet, and the audience she would bring would be amazing and they know she would be incredible,” a source told HollywoodLife.com.
