Russell Armstrong found dead

'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star Russell Armstrong has been found dead.

The estranged husband of Taylor Armstrong was discovered in his bedroom at his home on Mulholland Drive in Los Angeles last night after an apparent suicide.

A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department told UsMagazine.com the 47-year-old man was "found dead from an apparent hanging in a residence on Mulholland Drive".

Taylor - who had five-year-old daughter Kennedy with Russell - filed for divorce from him last year after six years of marriage.

The couples struggles were aired on the Bravo reality TV show - and earlier this month the 40-year-old beauty explained it had been an "emotional" year.

She said: "Unfortunately for me this year, there were a lot more tears, a lot more pain. It's been such an emotional ride this year."

But Russell's ex-wife Barbara Frederickson - who he had 13-year-old son Aiden with - blames Taylor for the reality star's plight.

She told RadarOnline.com: "I don't care for her at all. I think she's the reason for this.

"She's not who she says she is and I told him to please be careful with this woman... I warned him! She's bad news and she drove him into this."
