Tina Fey, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Patricia Arquette celebrate their 'last f*ckable day' in hilarious ageism parody
'The media decides when you're not believably fuckable anymore'
Three of Hollywood's most talented actors have perfectly skewered ageism in the movie industry in a sketch for Inside Amy Schumer.
It sees Amy finding the trio enjoying lunch in a woodland clearing in celebration of Louis-Dreyfus' "last fuckable day".
"In every actress's life the media decides when you finally reach the point where you're not believably fuckable anymore," the Veep actress explains.
Fey elaborates: "You know, how Sally Field was Tom Hanks' love interest in Punchline then like 20 minutes later she was his mum in Forest Gump".
"Or you might get offered a romcom with Jack Nicholson where' you're competing with another woman to fuck him," Arquette adds.
The group also joke about having auditioned to be 'Mrs Claus', and send up the films older women are often offered in Hollywood with "uplifting and vague titles like Whatever It Takes or She Means Well."
Arquette is a particularly vocal opponent of age and gender discrimination in film, having discussed it at length during her Oscars acceptance speech for Boyhood.
