The illusionist Uri Geller has spoken openly about his rocky relationship with Michael Jackson.

In an interview with Channel 4 News, Geller admitted hypnotising the late pop star to question him about the child abuse allegations that dogged his final years.

Geller stated that although he knew questioning Jackson under hypnosis was unethical, hearing him deny the accusations while in a trance confirmed innocence in his eyes.

Geller also admitted arguing with Jackson after introducing him to the journalist Martin Bashir in 2002. Bashir’s much criticised documentary ‘Living With Michael Jackson’ came as a result of the meeting.

The news of their falling out appears to confirm rumours that it had been many years since Geller actually met with Michael Jackson.
