Obituary: Admiral Sir Frank Twiss
Admiral Sir Frank Twiss, naval officer, died 27 January, aged 83. Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod, House of Lords 1970-78. Serjeant-at- Arms, House of Lords and Secretary to the Lord Great Chamberlain 1971-78. He rose from cadet to become Second Sea Lord and Chief of Naval Personnel 1967-70. Member of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission 1970-79.
