Obituary: Hoge Houston

Hoge Houston, businessman and poet, died Greenwich, Connecticut 8 March, aged 83. Composed 10 volumes of poetry between 1932 and 1993. His works were published in the Kenyon Review, the Paris Review, the Hudson Review, Parnassus, and elsewhere. Became vice-president of the Equity Corporation, a New York investment company, in 1949, but retired in 1988 after it had been successfully transformed into Wheelabrator-Frye Incorporated.
