'I can move my ears really well but I dance like my dad'

Harry Judd, 22, is one quarter of the youngest act to enter the charts at No 1. The band released its 'Greatest Hits' at the end of last year. Judd is fundraising for the Teenage Cancer Trust and the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust and will run the London Marathon on their behalf in April. See www.harryrunsthemarathon.com

If I weren't talking to you right now I'd be...

Training for my first marathon.

A phrase I use far too often is...

"Classic" or "epic".

I wish people would take more notice of...

My biceps instead of my skinny calves. I've got no calves but my biceps are massive.

The most surprising thing that happened to me was...

Getting into the band and leaving school. And England winning the Ashes.

I'm not a politician but...

That's probably a good thing.

I'm good at...

Some sports. And I can move my ears well.

I'm very bad at...

Singing. And dancing. I dance like my dad. Actually probably worse than my dad. I did have a couple of drinks and sing Enrique Iglesias's "Hero" once. Supposedly I was in tune, but I've been too embarrassed to ever watch it through.

The ideal night out is...

Fancy dress and then on to a karaoke bar – crazy!

In moments of weakness I...

Lie on the sofa playing Xbox for six hours at time if I'm really depressed. It takes someone to ring me up and persuade me to go out, but we often just end up going to the cinema and I'm sitting in front of an even bigger screen. So I like to keep myself active like now with the running.

You know me as a drummer but in another life I'd have been...

I swan around playing the drums. So if I didn't do that, I'd probably just swan around.

The best age to be is...

Sixteen. You're just old enough to go out and stuff. It's the first time to really meet girls and try new things.

In a nutshell, my philosophy is this:

As long as you're enjoying life that's all that matters.
