Jeremy Edwards, 35, has appeared in 'Hollyoaks', 'Holby City' and as a housemate in 'Celebrity Big Brother'. He is now promoting T-Mobile's web 'n' walk

If I weren't talking to you right now I'd be...

Walking my dog. She's a boston terrier with big bat ears and massive goggly eyes. If I'm not working I tend to just wander around Belsize Park with Molly. I'm like a lady who lunches, I play squash, bump into a few friends, but it can get quite boring.

A phrase I use far too often is...

I don't have one. I hate people that repeat themselves.

A common misperception of me is...

People used to think I was arrogant and stuck up but the one good thing that came out of Big Brother was that people said I was all right after all.

I wish people would take more notice of...

Each other. I'm big on manners. When people are rude I'm shocked. If I hold the door for people and they do not say "thank you", I'll say "THANK YOU" like a school teacher.

The most surprising thing that happened to me was...

Having my pants pulled down by David Walliams in front of thousands at Comic Relief event at the Hammersmith Apollo, and on national television. I'd like to see the playback so I could see the look on my face.

I am not a politician but...

I would like to take out Ken Livingstone as Mayor of London. It's false economy to shut the Tubes on the weekends. In other countries they work through the night. This whole congestion charge - it's not going to save the environment. I would pedestrianise central London. I'd create perspex-tube bike lanes. It would be ace.

The ideal night out is...

Playing pool at my favourite pub in Westbourne Park.

You know me as a actor but in truer life I'd have been a...

Writer. I was a merchant banker once. I walked out within a month. I couldn't stand the snobbery, the wine bars, the suits and the Tube in the morning.
