Andrea McLean, 38, is the host of ITV1's 'Loose Women' and has been GMTV's lead weather presenter for the past 10 years. She is an Ambassador for The National Lottery Award 2008, the search to find the UK's favourite Lottery funded projects.

A phrase I use far too often ...

"As you can see..." Obviously it's a fitting phrase for doing the weather, but it drives Penny Smith mad.

I wish people would take more notice of ...

How lovely our country is. People are so quick to criticise, without noticing how great the country really is.

The most surprising thing that happened to me ...

Was discovering I like children. I was always more interested in having a dog.

A common misperception of me is ...

That I'm very laid back. The truth is I was nicely brought up and taught not to show my rage even though it was building up inside. My New Year's resolution is to show everyone just how cross I can get.
