If it were a night out with my wife, then it would be nice to spend time in a monstrously expensive restaurant staring lovingly into her eyes. But it'd be different if I was out with the boys... I went out with my squash team and it was like opening a dustbin and pouring alcohol in. At least I managed to wander home laughing.

In moments of weakness I...

Panic, getting stressed out with things that would be easy to deal with if I'd had half an hour's sleep.

In another life I'd have been...

I wanted to do everything that little boys did: I wanted to be a train driver; I'd like to be the lead guitarist in the world's heaviest band; I'd like to be a warrior monk, kicking everyone's arse, especially traffic wardens.

The best age to be is...

One-day-old again and have another go. I wonder what I'd have in common with the old life. It would be nice to compare what the crossroads were - which decisions led in which direction.
