The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh attend a service of thanksgiving at the University Church of St Mary the Virgin, Oxford, to mark the 750th anniversary of University College, Oxford; visit the Bodleian Library, Oxford; and visit University College. The Queen visits Union Street Education Complex, Oxford. The Duke of Edinburgh visits Oxford Brookes University. Princess Alexandra, Patron of Leeds Castle Foundation, opens the Lady Baillie Garden and attends a lunch at Leeds Castle, Maidstone, Kent.

Changing of the Guard

The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am; 1st Battalion Coldstream Guards mounts the Queen's Guard, at Buckingham Palace, 11.30am, band provided by the Grenadier Guards.
