The Duke of Edinburgh visits Warsash Maritime Centre's sites at Marchwood and Warsash, Hampshire; and, as Admiral of the Fleet, visits HMS Dryad, Southwick, Fareham, Hampshire. The Prince of Wales opens the new BFI London IMAX Cinema complex at Waterloo. The Princess Royal, President, the Princess Royal Trust for Carers, attends the Fife Carers Welcome Day at the Fife Carers Centre, Kirkcaldy, Fife; and as Patron, the Scottish Business Achievement Award Trust, attends a lunch at the Scottish Omnibus Museum, Lathalmond, Fife.

Changing of the Guard

The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am; 1st Battalion Welsh Guards mounts the Queen's Guard, at Buckingham Palace, 11.30am, band provided by the Coldstream Guards.
