The Duke of York, President of the Association of Leading Visitor Attractions, visits Blackpool Pleasure Beach and attends a Gala Event for the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children and Christies Against Cancer. The Princess Royal opens the Younger Building, Drummond House, the Royal Bank of Scotland, Redheughs Avenue, Edinburgh; and, as Patron, Victim Support Scotland, attends their Volunteer Sponsorship Launch at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. The Duke of Gloucester, Ranger, visits Epping Forest, Essex; and, as Patron, Afasic (Association for all Speech Impaired Children), opens a new headquarters at Old Street, London EC1.

Changing of the Guard

The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am.
