The Princess Royal opens Phase II of the Royal Bournemouth Hospital, Bournemouth; visits the Fortune Centre of Riding Therapy, Avon Tyrell, Bransgore, near Christchurch, Dorset; and later, as President, National Association of Young Farmers' Clubs, hosts a Reception at Buckingham Palace. The Duchess of Gloucester, President, National Association of Boys' Clubs, attends the Annual General Meeting at the Royal Air Force Club, London W1. The Duke of Kent opens the CT Scanner Room, Hillingdon Hospital, Pield Heath Road, Uxbridge, Middlesex; as President of the Licensed Victuallers' National Homes, opens the nursing home at Denham, Buckinghamshire; and later, as Grand Master of the United Grand Lodge of England, attends the Deputy GDC Club Annual Dinner at the Guildhall, London EC2. Princess Alexandra attends the Britain in Bloom Awards Ceremony at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, London W2; and opens the new Headquarters of Bacup at Rivington Street, London EC2. Prince Michael of Kent, as Patron of the Anglo-Hellenic League, unveils a Memorial Plaque to commemorate all those who fell in 1941-1945 Greek campaign, in St Sophia's Church, London W2.
