The Duke of Gloucester opens new technology buildings at Carr Hill High School, Kirkham, Lancashire; as Grand Prior, the Order of St John, opens the refurbished County Headquarters at Fulwood, Preston, Lancashire; opens the Lancashire and Lakeland Radiotherapy Unit at the Royal Preston Hospital; and opens Eaves Brook Housing Association development at Deepdale, Lancashire. Changing of the Guard

The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am; 1st Battalion The Royal Regiment mounts the Queen's Guard, at Buckingham Palace, 11.30am, band provided by the Welsh Guards.
