Shaquille O'Neal raps and sings with passengers as undercover Lyft driver
The four-time NBA champion donned a range of outfits for his disguise
Shaquille O’Neal certainly knows how to spend his retirement from basketball.
A lifelong wrestling fan, he participated in his first match at WrestleMania 32 in April; and now, he’s gone undercover as a Lyft taxi driver in Atlanta.
O’Neal uses several disguises and aliases for his undercover stint such as Charles, an avid maker of bracelets; Pierre, a Frenchman who does not speak a word of French; and Goose, an off-duty cop who drives a taxi on the side.
All his characters have free styling as a common interest and naturally Shaq makes his passengers spit their hottest bars.
Basketball, of course, is a topic of conversation.
In one exchange, O’Neal gives a passenger an impromptu lesson in how to free-throw.
He finishes off the class by saying “You know what? You’ve just learned from the greatest free-throw coach of all-time”.
Shaq shows that he is perfectly suited to undercover work as he was completely lying – he had a 53% success rate from the free-throw line over his career.
