Kanye West, we have some bad news.
The rapper who once compared the weight of his ego to a marble table (and on a separate occasion equated himself with God) also awarded himself the greatly-contested title of "greatest living rock star on the planet" during his headline set at Glastonbury .
A number of people stepped forward to dispute this bold claim, but none were as explicit as Slipknot’s Corey Taylor, who felt compelled to break the news in a video message. Clearly pained at having to explain himself, he told West : “You. Are not. The greatest living rockstar. Of all time. The fact that you had to tell people that … kinda says it all. Stop it. Stop it!”
Corey Taylor: Not impressed Taylor isn’t the first musician to dispute West’s assertion. The Who vied for the greatest rock star crown at Glastonbury with a guitar solo from Pete Townsend as Roger Daltry shouted: "We’re going to make a big f***ing rebellion; yeah, who’s the biggest rock star in the world?”

For anyone surprised that West would dare proclaim himself the greatest living rock star, may we just remind you of the time he ascended a table in a branch of Nandos to chants of 'Yeezus'.
