Suge Knight, the rap mogul wanted in connection with a hit-and-run that killed one man and injured another, has been arrested on suspicion of murder and had his bail set at $2million.
Los Angeles County sheriff's department released a statement on Friday saying that Knight and his lawyer attended the West Hollywood station. He was questioned by police before being arrested on a murder charge.
This follows an altercation in a Compton car park following an argument on a film set. Witnesses say that they saw Knight drive his truck over the two men. The argument broke out on the set of biopic, Straight Outta Compton, a film about Eighties rap posse N.W.A.
Some witnesses believed the attack was deliberate. Knight's lawyer maintains that it was an accident.
Knight, 49, found commercial success after forming Death Row Records with Dr Dre in the Nineties.Reuse content
