After personal bequests of pounds 18,500 and some effects, she left her portait of Alfred Hayward to the National Portrait Gallery, pounds 1,000 to the New English Art Club Federation of British Artists, pounds 500 to the Artists General Benevolent Institution, and the remainder of her estate to the Royal Society of Painters in Water Colours, including her home, to be used as a centre of teaching, leisure and recreation for artists.
Sir Charles Demoree Newbold, of Chichester, West Sussex, former President of the Court of Appeal for Eastern Africa, left estate valued at pounds 349,933 net.
Sir Peter McLay Mills, of Crediton, Devon, former Conservative MP for Torridge and West Devon, left estate valued at pounds 128,327 net. He left pounds 5,000 to Crediton Parochial Church Council.
