She left pounds 10,000 to the RNIB, pounds 5,000 each to Branksome Hill Junior School, College Town, for the purchase of books and equipment, and the RSPCA; pounds 170,000, her home and effects and four-sevenths of the residue to personal legatees; and pounds 10,000 and one-seventh each to Frimley Park Hospital, Frimley, Surrey, the Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading, and the Royal Star and Garter Home, Richmond.

Mr William Hugh Peddell, of Brockham, Surrey, left estate valued at pounds 1,445,339 net. He left bequests of effects and 85 per cent of the residue to personal legatees, and four per cent of the residue each to Christchurch, Brockham, the RSPCA, for the Ark Kennels, and the Arthritis and Rheumatism Council, and three per cent of the residue to the Friends of Headley Court, Cobham.
