Air Marshal Sir Aubrey Beauclerk Ellwood, of Taunton, Somerset, one of the last survivors of the Royal Naval Air Service, and former Commander-in-Chief of Bomber Command, left estate valued at pounds 268,778 net.

Sir Kenneth Selby, of Bath, Avon, former Chairman and president of the Bath and Portland Group and Pro-Chancellor of Bath University, left estate valued at pounds 722,922 net.

Miss Rosamund Mary Beatrice Fletcher, of Braintree, Essex, the sculptor, left estate valued at pounds 682,276 net. She left pounds 2,000 to the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association; pounds 1,000 and her modelling equipment to the Royal Society of British Sculptors; pounds 1,000 to the Tyburn Convent, London W2; her jewellery not otherwise bequeathed to the House of Franciscan Friars, London E7; personal bequests of pounds 6,500; and one-sixth of the residue each to the Bishop of Menevia, the House of Franciscan Friars, London E7 (to be used for a poor convent of Franciscan Sisters), the Artists General Benevolent Institution, St Philip's Priory, Begbroke, Oxfordshire (for the Servite Missions), and the Missionary Franciscan Sisters of Immaculate Conception (to benefit St Francis Convent, Bocking).
