A police officer guarding Letterbox field near Much Marcle, in Hereford and Worcester, yesterday after Bernard Knight, the Home Office pathologist, confirmed remains found 3ft below ground were a woman's. It was not possible to say if they belonged to Catherine Costello, the first wife of Frederick West, who has been accused of murdering nine women found at his Gloucester home. Police are now switching their search to a new unnamed site
