Rain or Shine...
SEVERE flooding in northern Ghana has lead to an outbreak of cholera which has claimed the lives of at least 48 people, the authorities said yesterday.
Torrential rain last week saw the River Volta burst its banks and left 9,000 people homeless. The government has said the flooding destroyedcrops and swept away hamlets, roads, bridges and dams in the impoverished Upper East and Northern regions.
